Setting up the power supply

1. Connect the electronic components

Upholstered furniture with two or more electrical functions is normally powered by one power source. This may be a power pack or a rechargeable battery. Some models have individual cables on the seat element that need to be connected together in advance. In certain models, especially models joined with crocodile connectors, the cables do not need to be joined together. In these cases, each element equipped with an electrical function has a separate power cable.

For multiple power-operated function seats: connect the cables as follows:

  • Pull the connection cables of adjacent elements out of the opening in the seat element’s closing chuck and join them.

  • The power pack is connected to the cables of the upholstered furniture by means of an additional connector, the e-connector. Insert the e-connector between two connectors.

  • If the upholstered furniture is not positioned against a wall, push the connectors back into their pocket in the upholstered element.

2. Establish the power connection

Plug all of the upholstered furniture’s electronic power pack connectors into a suitable socket:

power can be supplied either in this way or optionally by means of a rechargeable battery.
