The upholstered furniture is equipped with a large number of stationary and moving components. To execute the corresponding functions, the upholstered furniture is equipped with fittings that have movement-intensive adjustment mechanisms. For this reason, it is vital to observe the following information:
- Warning: Crushing hazard! When the motorised parts of a convenience function open or close, people or animals can be injured and property can be damaged.
- The upholstered furniture must be set up on a level surface, as individual components may otherwise be subjected to load in an unbalanced way.
- In an extended or retracted state, an elevated load (as caused by sitting or jumping, for example) may cause parts to break off.
- When the furniture is pushed, modified or repositioned, the legs can easily bend or break off, and the floor may also be damaged.
- An excessive spot load can also occur if you sit down forcefully, throwing yourself onto the upholstered furniture, or if the furniture is jumped on (used like a “trampoline”).
- When adjusting functions, never use force, even if the function is blocked.
- To maintain a uniform look and quality, don’t always sit on the same part of your upholstered furniture, to prevent one particular spot from wearing out too quickly.
- Ensure that extending components are not blocked by other objects and have enough space to move.
- Do not stand up, sit down or put your feet down between the footrests with the reclining relax seat open!
- The relax function is approved and functional up to a maximum load of 140 kg per seat. The Relax functions are approved for two persons for seat widths of 100cm and above. The maximum load is then 220kg.
